Customer Review: Couldn’t be Happier
I had this crappy cheap vaccum that we used for a while but we had pets and cheap vaccums don’t work on dog and cat hair that well. So when income tax season came around I talked my husband into letting me get a new vaccum. The one we were using smelled horrible everytime you turned it on. Pretty sure it was done. So I do some research and this vaccum gets great reviews so I pick one up. Never have I spent so much on a vaccum. Like I said I bought a cheap crappy one. WOW was it worth the money. It is a little heavy like a lot of people have said. I am 26yrs old so it doesn’t bother me to much. I can use the extra weight. I do have a hard time sometimes getting it up the stairs. Besides that it is fantastic. I just bought a Bissell carpet cleaner and couldn’t be happier. I love Bissell.
Customer Review: Does great despite the weight
This vacuum reminds me of an older American car: big, powerful, and heavy.
We bought this vacuum a few months ago after our canister vacuum from Sears died after a couple of years of mediocre performance. I wanted an upright vacuum because I was tired of dragging a canister vac around from room to room.
The Pros:
1) Very powerful suction, even on hardwood floors
2) Tools are convenient and work well
3)Canister is easy to empty
4) Does a great job on the area rug in our living room. Our old vacuum left a musty smell, but this one doesn’t.
5) Long cord means no plugging and unplugging

Customer Review: Handy!
It does the job I needed it for (picking up kitty litter in a tiled laundry room)so I am satisfied. It is small, definitely lightweight and powerful enough for this. It’s like a “Dustbuster” with a bottom attachemt and long handle. Don’t expect anything more than that and you will be happy.

Bought this vacuum to use in my kitchen, works great, on crumbs, pet hair, leaves traked in back door, even kitty litter. Great handy vacuum for the price! Would highly recommend purchasing it, has alot of suction, not like the old dust buster hand held vacuum. Can be used hand held or w/ long handle and easy to clean.

Given the rave reviews, I had expected a bit more out of this product. My carpet is light gray, so just about everything shows. It does clean up most spots with a varying degree of repeated applications, but there are those that it just doesn’t have much of an effect on. (My cats have a tendency to cough up some hairballs that come with food stains–salmon is especially tenacious. One of them somehow manages to get the hairball-prevention goop from her paw onto the carpet in small amounts. Surprisingly, the cleaner does quite well in getting those up when they do not respond to the Oxy Deep spray method.) I do like that I can clean smaller high traffic areas, such as the transition areas from the carpet to the tiled rooms (kitchen, bathroom) to help keep them fresh. I have purchased a different cleaning solution, supposedly of a higher cleaning ability, so perhaps that will remedy those spots that are less responsive to the sample that came with the unit.

Bissell 35766 CleanView II Plus Upright Bagless Vacuum This cleaning machine tackles it all, from wood floors to carpets and from furniture to drapes, and its lightweight construction makes it easy to push from room to room or carry upstairs. Employing the maximum possible power of 12 amps, this vacuum has excellent suction that pulls in microscopic dirt particles as well as heavier items such as spilled nuggets of dog food or peas. This vacuum is not too bad for the money…but you get what you pay for!!! You want to spend under a $100 for a vacuum? This might not be a bad choice but just keep it mind…you get what you pay for!!!

Customer Review: Smoking! (Literally!)
I have had this product for about a year but don’t use it all that often because the vacuum side isn’t all that good and for the small floor area that I have, I usually find it quicker to just use a dust mop and then mop. However, I drag it out every so often and tonite, immediately after I plugged it in, the motor made a funny sound and then started smoking - enough to set my smoke detector off. I emptied the detergent area, wrapped up the cord, and put it in the trash bin outside. I don’t believe that I will be buy anything like this again.

This Bissell product is again one of Bissell’s best made floor cleaner. The convenience of going from dry to wet cleaning by a simple flip of the handle. The power of the brushes amazed me when I cleaned a floor that had not been cleaned in months. The floor turned out sparkling white, no joke.
